Fox Literary is a boutique agency which represents commercial and literary fiction, along with select works of nonfiction that have broad commercial appeal.
We are actively seeking the following: young adult fiction (all genres), science fiction/fantasy, romance, historical fiction, literary fiction, thrillers, horror, and graphic novels. We're always interested in books that cross genres and reinvent popular concepts with an engaging new twist (especially when there’s a historical and/or speculative element involved).
On the nonfiction side, we're interested in memoirs, biography, and smart narrative nonfiction; Diana particularly enjoys memoirs and other nonfiction about sex work, addiction and recovery, popular science, and pop culture. Isabel is especially interested in narratives focused on travel, food, and the science of beauty, as well as microhistories of all things decadent and frivolous.
For more information about Isabel and what she's looking for, please refer to her individual page here.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
|
|
|
Email a query letter and the first 5 pages of your manuscript IN THE BODY OF THE EMAIL to submissions@foxliterary.com. Please include the name of the agent to whom the submission is directed in the salutation of your email.
You may query both Diana and Isabel simultaneously, but you must send separate queries to each rather than a single query addressed to both of us. With all submissions, we may jointly review and determine which agent we think will be the best fit for a project.
We make every effort to reply to all email queries, but no longer accept hard copy submissions. Please do not send unsolicited email attachments, as we will be unable to open or respond to messages containing them.
Note: Fox Literary does not represent screenplays, category Westerns, Christian/inspirational, or children's picture books.
